The little prince
The Little Prince, pusblished in 1943, is the most famous novel of the French pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. He wrote it while he was staying in a New York hotel. Apparently a children’s book, it deals with issues as deep as the sense of life, friendship and love. In the novel, Saint-Exupéry reveals his own view about human stupidity and the simple wisdom that people seem to forget when they grow up. Adapted for string marionettes, it keeps intact the innocence and fragility of the Little Prince, so that its simplicity can fill our hearts with wisdom.
